Do you want to have clean, hydrated, soft, aromatized and good-looking hands all the time, no matter how hard you use them and how much you expose them to environmental influence?
Does it sound like an impossible task to have all of the benefits mentioned above?
I have not one but three fantastic solutions that answer which soap is best for dry skin! They are excellent natural bar soaps you will fall in love with!
I have used all three soaps for a long time, as my husband adores them. They are a favourite of my three kids, too.
I will share my experience and the opinion of many other users to decide if any of these soaps are worth trying.
These are the products I will review for you today:
Sounds promising?
But before I start dissecting each product, let’s start with
What Do These Three Soap Bars Have In Common?
They do not harm you and the environment. They are united by what’s missing in the list of ingredients.
The soap bars are 100% natural products without chemicals or any other harmful ingredients, such as:
Parabens are the most widely used preservatives in cosmetic products – they stop bacteria, fungi, and other microbes from growing. Parabens can be related to hormones, fertility, and even breast cancer.
Sulfates are most commonly used in skin care products to produce bubbles and foam. These chemicals (the most known – sodium lauryl sulfate SLS and sodium Laureth sulfate SLES) can cause skin irritations, dry skin, and other skin problems.
PEG (polyethene glycol) – is not a chemical element but a mixture of different compounds. And here comes the most significant problem – the impurities found in various PEG compounds – I will mention Ethylene Oxide, a highly TOXIC GAS. These are “the bad guys” regarding what a cosmetic product may contain, happily missing in these products.
But What Do These Soaps Have Under The Hood?
Here comes the good news – only top-notch natural ingredients, mixed with professionalism and love, that take excellent care of your body and yourself.
Typically, they blend vegetable and essential oils, plant extracts and vitamins. Your skin deserves the best substances you can find in nature.
How Do The Soap Bars Look Like?
The rose oil soap has a delicate rose scent, which can work as aromatherapy too. The colour of the soap is light red.
The seaweed soap smells like the sea and plants. And summer. And holiday. And relax. And happiness. The colour of the soap bar is divine blue.
The snail soap had a very delicate, mild and pleasant scent. It has a yellow colour, as you can typically see the gold particles sparkling inside.
The soap bars weigh about 100-105 grams. Since they are handmade, the weight varies. They have an excellent trapeze shape and are wrapped with gentle, transparent (so that you can enjoy the beautiful outlook of your soap even before you’ve started using it) foil.
Why Should You Consider The Rose Oil Soap?
For many reasons! I will share with you my experience with the soap and the pros and cons of it. But first off, let’s start with
The Ingredients of the Rose Oil Soap Bar Revealed!
My Experience With The Rose Oil Soap
I am in love with this soap! Not only that it cleans my skin, but it also makes me feel clean, which is essential nuance!
I use it for washing my hands and my face and body. I’ve tried it even on my hair. It is a perfect substitute for body wash and shampoo.
What about the impact on my hands? I have dehydrated skin, and I was wondering how it would react.
Since I have three small kids and wash dishes and my kids’ hands, I use soap often. It works well on my skin.
It is smooth, soft and nourished, which is essential to me. If I notice a product dries my skin, I stop using it immediately, but this is not the case.
When I was sure my skin was improving, I used the soap daily when I showered. My body felt great and refreshed as it renewed my skin.
And the lovely, delicate smell of roses worked like aromatherapy to me!
Although it is just a habit, I may start using soap as shampoo one day. It has the advantage of using one product for both hair and body, saving space.
And last but not least, it is perfect for face wash, too. It makes my skin soft and leaves a scent of roses that lasts a lot.
These were the traditional ways to use a soap bar.
I tried the soap on my hair, too, it felt good, but since I am more traditional, I prefer a liquid product like shampoo (natural, of course).
How to use the soap creatively?
I have found three more uses for the rose oil soap.
After taking a shower with it, the whole bathroom smells of roses. It works as therapy, especially after a long, exhausting day at work or home with the kids.
It brings me the feeling that I am close to nature, surrounded by lovely roses, the sky, and the sun.
Sometimes I even sit on the couch for 5 minutes and enjoy this relaxing and delicate smell, thinking about nothing. It would help if you tried it too.
Another great use of soap is as an aromatizer for my wardrobes. Thus, all my clothes smell incredible and perfume-like! Of course, you can use this soap as an exquisite and original gift. You will make an impression and draw the attention of the people who receive it.
Pros And Cons: The Rose Oil Soap
Let me summarise the benefits of the product:
- It lasts pretty well;
- It leaves skin soft, fragrant and, moisturized, relaxed while not drying it out;
- It smells so natural and heavenly;
- It produces just the right amount of lather – neither less nor more than needed;
- It is perfect for a present. It is both practical and romantic to give someone a product with such a lovely rose fragrance so that they can either delight in it or/and can wash with it.
- It is good for kids and suitable for babies, as well. I haven’t had any issues washing my children;
- The bath, wardrobe and all rooms where this soap is located smell of roses. The scent pleasantly diffuses into the premise of interest, improving the mood of the people there;
- It is suitable for people with sensitive skin;
- One can use it for hair.
Cons:
- Those users who have gotten used to the affluent foam may find the lather a bit insufficient;
- The packing (transparent foil) is practical and straightforward rather than sophisticated and expensive.
Why Should You Consider The Seaweed Soap?
As with the previous product, I will share my experience with the soap and its pros and cons. Let’s start with
The Ingredients Of The Seaweed Soap Bar Revealed!
My Experience With The Seaweed Soap
I adore washing with this soap. Seaweed contains magnesium, which is appropriate for me, as my dry skin feels hydrated and fresh.
I use this soap daily to wash my hands and shower, and I feel perfect. Sometimes, there is no need to put lotion on my body – the dry skin problem is gone!
That’s how my skin reacts to the seaweed soap. But imagine how I feel!
What do you think about when you hear “seaweed”? It brings memories of summer, water, sun, blue sky, islands, summer breeze, beaches, cocktails, and fun.
Using this soap is like therapy to me. I feel calm, refreshed, and happier. The emotion it evokes is the most valuable “ingredient” in the soap.
Usually, we go to the seaside in September, and then we are back home. Kids start school; we have all autumn and winter months ahead. And summer seems so far away!
Especially when the children are sick at home, and sometimes we cannot go out for 3-4 days. I feel desperate, and there are days that I am so tired that it’s hard to get up in the morning.
At such moments the seaweed soap helps me go through these little personal moments of low mood. I use it for chromatherapy – the blue colour has healing, calming, and relaxing properties.
I take a soap bar, go alone to another room for five minutes and start thinking about the summer that is coming, the holidays, the sea, and the kids playing on the sand.
And if you had a long and exhausting day, try to find 15 minutes only for yourself without thinking of work projects, housework, laundry, kids, school, etc.
Use the seaweed soap as aromatherapy as well. The divine smell combined with the steam in your bathroom gives terrific results. All the stress is gone, and you feel refreshed.
Another great use of soap is as an aromatizer for my wardrobes. Sometimes, when we travel, I put a single soap bar in my suitcase; thus, all my clothes smell incredible.
Imagine how great it is to treat your skin with only natural ingredients – vegetables and essential oils that make you feel you use real gifts from nature – valuable, powerful – a real treasure.
And this is combined with such a precious gift for your senses too. You can use the Seaweed Soap for your hair, body and face. It is a perfect substitute for body wash and shampoo.
Pros And Cons: Seaweed Soap
You will like this soap because:
- It is with lovely fragrance;
- It leaves the face hydrated and fresh;
- It is gentle and caring on the hands, leaving them soft and smooth;
- You can use it on wounded skin areas;
- It lathers up well;
- The colour is reminiscent of the sea and summertime;
- It helps with chapped and dry hands;
- You can use it as a body wash and hair wash;
- It does not irritate the skin with dermatological problems such as acne and psoriasis.
The disadvantages are:
- Those users who have gotten used to the affluent foam may find the lather a bit insufficient;
- The packing (transparent foil) is practical and straightforward rather than sophisticated and expensive;
- Some users may find the scent a bit strong and intense.
Why Should You Consider The Soap With Snail Extract and Gold?
As with the rose oil and seaweed products, I will share with you my experience with the soap and the pros and cons of it. Let’s start with
The Ingredients of the Snail & Gold Soap Bar Revealed!
My Experience with the Snail & Gold Soap
I appreciate all three bar soaps that I review here. They all are amazing.
But if I had to pick just one soap to go on a desert island, that probably would be the snail and gold soap bar. I adore the delicate scent and the feeling it leaves on my skin.
I have dehydrated and problematic skin, and the problem becomes worse during the winter. I only used shower gels for many years because I’ve always thought that soaps were not the best for my skin as they would dry it too much.
And that was until the moment I got this natural soap. I decided to give it a try, and the result was terrific.
Not only that the soap didn’t dry my skin, but it made it soft, refreshed, and moisturized. I’ve been using it for a while, forgetting about all the expensive shower gels with chemicals.
It is also a perfect substitute for a traditional liquid soap – as I often wash my hands, I recommend using a natural soap bar.
Thus my skin is hydrated; the redness that other soap bars and liquid soaps usually leave on it is now gone.
And this, combined with good hand cream, makes my hands beautiful, and their skin is soft even during the cold months.
After a shower with the snail soap, the bathroom smells divine. It works like aromatherapy, especially after a long, exhausting day at work or home with the kids.
Another great use of soap is as an aromatizer for my wardrobes. Thus, all my clothes smell incredible.
You can use snail soap for your hair, body and face. It is a perfect substitute for body wash and shampoo.
What is the Soap’s Main Advantage with Snail Extract And Gold Particles?
The most important benefit is the blend of ingredients used for this soap. Many people have begun to realize how important it is to treat their skin with natural substances.
A soap bar is not just something we use to clean our hands and body. It is much more than that – we can compare it to the food we give to our bodies.
Soaps, creams, and cosmetics, in general, are the food for our skin and hair. That is why this soap perfectly suits me.
Another advantage is its delicate smell, not very heavy but gentle and lovely.
And the way it leaves my super dry skin hydrated, fresh, and young-looking.
You can use snail soap for your hair, body and face. It is a perfect substitute for body wash and shampoo. Using it for an everyday shower lasts about 20-25 days.
Pros And Cons: Snail & Gold Soap
Pros:
- It moisturizes the skin well;
- It gives perfect lather;
- It has a lovely, delicious and delicate scent;
- It is a multi-functional soap bar – for taking a shower, washing hair, removing make-up or even shaving (for men);
- Leaves skin soft; Suitable for a very stylish gift for family, friends and kid’s teachers
Cons:
- Those users who have gotten used to the affluent foam may find the lather a bit insufficient;
- The packing (transparent foil) is practical and straightforward rather than sophisticated and expensive;
What About The Price?
Compared to the mass-produced non-natural soaps you can find on the market, the soap is not cheap. At the same time, other artisanal soaps are much more expensive than these three.
They have an outstanding “value for money” ratio, which gives many advantages compared to disadvantages.
We must accept that quality and luxury come at a price. This soap is worth the money, giving a lot more than it takes. It’s like you get a Ferrari at an excellent cost.
How To Use The Soaps?
When using as handwash: use regular soap – wet your hands, then apply the soap and rinse with water.
When used to shower, apply the soap on your body till it foams and then rinse with water.
For hair wash, massage and rub on your wet hair and scalp, then rinse with water. For face wash – apply on a wet face and then wash it with water.
The bar soaps are suitable for all skin types – they work perfectly on normal, sensitive, and dry skin.
