I will show you a few simple and easy to prepare at home recipes. Let’s start with
Recipe #1 Burdock root & water
You need 0,4 oz (10 gr) burdock root, 8 fl oz (250 ml) boiling water.
Boil the root for 10 minutes in hot water. Filter the liquid and pour into a glass bottle. Put the container in a fridge for a few hours. You can use this blend of flowing your hair after taking a shower. Use the whole quantity as it has a short expiration period.
Recipe #2 Burdock root & ivy leaves
You need 0,4 oz (10 gr) burdock root, 0,4 (10 gr) oz ivy leaves 16 fl oz (500 ml) boiling water.
Mix the burdock and ivy in hot water and boil it for 15 minutes. Filter the liquid and massage the hair follicles.
Recipe #3 Burdock root, nettle root & vodka
You need 0,8 oz (20 gr) burdock root, 0,8 oz (20 gr) nettle root 7 fl oz (200 ml) vodka.
Mix burdock and ivy root in a glass bottle and pour them with the vodka. Leave the mixture in dark place for 14 days. Filter the liquid and massage your hair.
Recipe #4 Burdock root & olive oil
You need 4 oz (100 gr) burdock root, 10 fl oz (300 ml) olive oil.
Put burdock root in a glass bottle and pour it with the oil. Leave the mixture in dark place for 10 days. Filter the liquid and use it as a mask to massage your hair before taking a shower. Apply it for 15 minutes and wash with shampoo.
This recipe treats hair loss, red, itchy or scalp inflammation, dandruff. It balances the functioning of sebaceous glands.
The recipe is appropriate for both oily and dry scalp.
If you have burdock oil (instead of burdock root), you can blend it with olive oil in equal ratio. Massage the hair follicles for half an hour and wash with shampoo.
Recipe #5 Burdock oil, egg yolk, and honey
You need 3 tablespoons burdock oil, 2 egg yolks, 3 tablespoons honey.
Slightly warm the burdock oil and mix with the yolks and the honey. Apply to dry hair for 1 hour. As the mask is liquid, wrap your hair in a towel. Rinse it and wash it with shampoo.
If you don’t hate onion smell, add 1 tablespoon to the mixture. It will give additional power to this mask:)
For better results, you can repeat it twice a week for two months.
